Coastal Container
I worked closely with Boileau Communications Management LLC and VisualHero, a design firm based out of Grand Rapids, to develop the Coastal Container website.
Coastal needed a site that could showcase their capabilities, their people, and their unique work style. After listening carefully, we developed a website that would meet their needs and go beyond the typical “brochure-ware” website.

Nameless
Nameless is a Christian ministry run by a good friend of mine. In early 2009, he approached with me an idea for a site that would help believers connect, tell their stories, and share their contributions with others around the world.
All we had to start with was a name, but pretty soon, we had worked together to develop a logo, a graphic identity, a message and a community of contributors for the site content.
The site you’ll find at remainnameless.org features the work of Christian artists, musicians, teachers, poets, videographers, and more.
HBPW Annual Report 2009
This was the first of two interactive annual reports I’ve had the privilege of developing for the Holland Board of Public Works. When my client approached Boileau Communications Management LLC in 2009 about creating their annual report, BCM pitched them the idea of building an online annual report in order to save costs on printing and provide a more interactive way of sharing the Holland BPW’s message.
Before we started development, BCM contracted me to do some research and best practices work on the concept, and I was shocked to find that most companies preferred to stick to traditional printed annual reports–only a handful of organizations were making websites. This left us with little to start with, but it also gave us the unique opportunity of pioneering a new genre of web development and design.

Wingliner North America
Working with Boileau Communications Management LLC, I had a client that needed a fast website solution. Wingliner North America was introducing a new a unique style of distribution vehicle in the US and needed an effective way to showcase their product with information, videos and quality images.
We worked together to find a graphic design that complimented their identity and quickly moved the website into development.
The final product has helped Wingliner make sales and expand their brand in North America.
Recycle Your iPhone
Recycleyouriphone.com had the honor of being one of my first clients after I started freelancing back in 2009. This was one of those rare clients who need start-to-finish services.
I worked with the client to develop a simple user experience that clearly communicated the services he was offering. Our process started with content strategy, progressed through graphic design and finished with a solid website built on the easy-to-use WordPress CMS.
